Ripple is part of a series of ongoing investigations into experimental ways of making in stone. It is a 2’ x 6’ wall sculpture milled from a solid block of Italian Statuario White Marble. Subsequently, this form goes through a rigorous multi step hand grinding and polishing process to yield an impeccable finish.  This proprietary finish is consistent with the design intent of challenging the inherent static perception one has of stone.

The surface of stone seems to flow continuously through the 3 equal segments that form the larger sculpture.
